The Bolga Pot Basket is woven in the Bogatanga region of northern Ghana, where basket weaving has been part of everyday life for generations. Artisans harvest elephant grass, dry it under the African sun, soften it with water, and carefully weave every strand entirely by hand.

The rounded “pot” shape is considered one of the more difficult basket styles to create, requiring exceptional skill and patience. Every purchase helps provide fair wages, preserve traditional weaving techniques, and support artisan families whose craftsmanship continues to be passed from one generation to the next.
